I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
   I know that full well.

Ps. 139:14

This quilt has sat and floated around in my head as an idea for way too long. Not entirely sure how to bring it to fruition, I let it sit on the back burner of my quilting stove while I tended to those in the front, ones that had been designed before and used techniques and features I’ve become good at.

But one day, after listing out all (okay, maybe not all, more like a substantial amount) of the quilts I wanted to finish or accomplish in 2019, I added this one to the list. And I did it. Simple as that. Turns out, writing down your goals really does work! Have you tried it?

All this to say is that I’m elated with how this quilt has turned out. It’s not perfect, it has several flaws that I grimace at a tiny bit when I look at it but it’s beautiful. And most importantly, I can’t wait to see a tiny babe wrapped up in it one day. 🙂
